St. John's Medical Relief Foundation

St. John’s Hospital is located on Plot 7 – 9, Rugumayo Rd (recently renamed Dr. Mwinganiza Road), Kyenjojo town opposite Electoral Commission, Kyenjojo district in Uganda, East Africa. It was started by Dr. David Mwinganiza and nurse Carolyn Ahurra and has been operational since June 2006. It is registered by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council in the Ministry of Health. The hospital was previously called Midas Touch Medical Services but it has legally transitioned into a non-profit called St. Johns Hospital under St. John’s Medical Relief Foundation.

The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, including an emergency department, maternity services, and specialized care in gynecology, surgery, and orthopedics. This comprehensive approach to healthcare underscores the institution’s commitment to addressing various medical needs within the community.
